The Role
We are building a sanctuary for deep work, and we need to deeply understand the science of calm. As our lead Digital Wellness Researcher, you will study the intersection of human psychology, cognitive load, and software design. You will be the philosophical compass of Tacet, ensuring that every feature we ship actively protects our users' attention rather than exploiting it.
What You Will Do
Cognitive Ergonomics: Conduct primary research on how modern UI patterns, AI interactions, and digital noise impact sustained focus, cortisol levels, and creative output.
Shape the Roadmap: Collaborate directly with our Product and Engineering teams to translate your behavioral findings into tangible, friction-reducing features for our generative workspace.
Lead the Conversation: Author editorial essays and thought-leadership pieces for our Publications journal, helping define the global standard for ethical, "calm" technology.
Who You Are
You have a profound background in behavioral science, human-computer interaction (HCI), or cognitive psychology.
You view the tech industry's obsession with "daily active engagement metrics" as a bug, not a feature. You want to measure success by the time you save people.
You are a highly empathetic, qualitative thinker who can translate complex psychological concepts into clear, actionable design principles.
